Those poofy net bath puffs made for use with shower gel are great for making tons of suds, but not so great for the environment. This afternoon, Sarah E. White, who writes the knitting column for About.com, posted a pattern for a loopy cotton washcloth that looks as though it would make a good substitute for the nylon puffs. I’m going to try it. Knitted with 100% cotton yarn. Gauge is not critical for this project.
