Summer Knits: 1920’s Shift or Top

Isn’t this pretty? So feminine and lacy. Very 1920’s. Knit in fine gauge, soft yarn, on size 2 and 3 (US) circular needles, and trimmed with satin ribbon. In a shorter length, I think it’d make a sexy tank top.

Vintage knitted shell

Vintage pattern from the 1970’s. I found this in some old knitting mags that my mother-in-law gave me. Haven’t made it myself so can’t comment on any of its details. If you decide to make it, I’d love to hear and see how it comes out!
