I sure hope these were knit by machine and not by hand. I suppose they can be seen as some sort of art but I’d rather see the energy put into knitting for chemo hats, preemies, the troops (Ship’s Project), the homeless or lots of other deserving charities. There is so much we can do to affect the lives of others….
Jessie,
I suppose we should not be going to art museums, ballgames, oprera and so on….as the time and money could be put to better use, RIGHT???? Everyone has their priorities but I feel your soapbox should only be placed in front of your own mirror…not mine or others who have other interests.
@Jessie – there’s no reason people can’t do both art and charity work. And art does affect people’s lives. Perhaps you should take some of your own advice – I’m sure the time you spend surfing the internet could be better spent “knitting for chemo hats, preemies, the troops (Ship’s Project), the homeless or lots of other deserving charities”. Just think – the time it took you to read the blog, type the comment, and read these comments back, you could have cast on for a chemo hat!
so strange! I just blogged about this very thing!
knitting sync?
They look like those mohair jumpsuits available on ebay.

I could not agree more. I can knit and crochet for charities AND enjoy my art of free expression!
Oh Linda,
Thanks so much for making me laugh! I really needed that today!
I think I’ll run out right now and buy the wool to make that, not! LOL!
What a KICK! There are some days when this would be EXACTLY what I would like to put on and HIDE! Very fun!
